Voting & Governance
A proposed community voting model for SidraNova. Voting is described as a non-binding community consultation process — it is not live, and no proposals, votes, or results exist yet.
Non-binding consultation
Potential proposal topics
- Community initiatives
- Roadmap priorities
- Rewards program improvements
- Future utility proposals
- Recommendations concerning ecosystem development
How proposals may be submitted
The intended flow is simple: a community member drafts a proposal within the published scope, submits it through an official channel (to be announced), and the proposal enters review. Submission is not yet possible — no official channel exists in this phase, and this page will be updated when it does.
Proposed review process
- Submission: a proposal is drafted within the published topic scope.
- Review: the project team checks clarity, feasibility, and fit with the community rules.
- Discussion: accepted proposals are published for community discussion before any vote.
- Voting: a defined voting period opens (length to be set in the official rules).
- Results: participation and outcomes are published after the period closes.
- Follow-up: the team publishes a response explaining what will — and will not — be acted on.
Voting period
Each accepted proposal would have a fixed voting period, announced before voting opens and closed at a published time. Votes cast after the period ends would not count. The exact duration is not set — it will be defined in the formal governance rules that the community can review before the process starts.
Results publication principles
- Results are published after every voting period, whether or not the outcome is acted on.
- Participation numbers and outcome summaries are shared transparently.
- The team's response to each result is published alongside the outcome.
- No results are displayed on this site until a real vote has actually taken place.
Governance FAQ
Governance status
Governance is proposed. No binding on-chain governance exists in this phase, and no proposals, votes, results, or voting power are displayed anywhere on this site because none exist. The architecture is designed to stay modular so wallet-based or token-weighted voting can be considered later.
